Plug and Play Enabled

Futuro Energy’s pack storage interfaces with repurposed EV battery packs and enables plug and play into
our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Our BESS cabinets are designed to electrically and mechanically integrate EV battery packs from a variety of OEMs. Each cabinet is assembled and tested before being shipped directly to a storage project site where the cabinets can be rapidly installed and scaled to an energy storage system.

Control with Intelligence

Batteries are connected in series and then parallel to increase both voltage and capacity simultaneously.

Using a matrix configuration, we effectively control each battery to operate safely, optimizing each EV Pack string to charge and discharge. It actively monitors cabinet temperature, voltage balance, and anomaly detection to deliver maximum potential yield.

With continuous management and optimization, EV packs with different capacities can charge and discharge efficiently without restricting overall performance.

Scale with Confidence

With real time monitoring, the entire energy storage system operates within guardrail settings.

The controller communicates between the EV packs and our energy management system (EMS), achieving effective yields for each BESS cabinet.

Energy Management System

Futuro Energy’s Energy Management System (EMS) orchestrates the performance of the batteries, cabinet, and the entire energy storage plant.

By coordinating the operations of many cabinets that are integrated with power electronics at each ESS site, the EMS processes significant volumes of data supporting real-time management of thousands of batteries per site.

This information is incorporated into real-time, plant-level alerts, dashboards and management systems.

AI-Powered Analytics

Operational data is captured on site and then routed to cloud-based data services. Futuro Energy’s AI- powered analytics engine continuously improves system automation and management.

Custom reports and dashboards show results of upstream analytic processes, enabling operators to monitor and control the system.

Monetize Market Operations

Futuro Energy’s Market Operations software delivers the intelligence and automation to interface with ISO markets and meet capacity commitments.

It analyzes price signals, plant operations, weather forecasts and other data to automatically bid and schedule market participation at financially optimal times. Wholesale market bids drive system operations, optimizing for peak pricing hours.

The bid optimization engine manages price forecasting and state of charge across the system.
